HEY I’M

Louiza Megan

For as long as I can remember, one thing has motivated me beyond all other things: freedom.

Since I was a kid, I wanted the freedom to be myself in the world.

  • To say yes to things I wanted and no to things I didn’t want.

  • To explore possibilities.

  • To design a life that brought me excitement and joy and prosperity.

In many ways, I lived in that place of personal freedom as I was building my business.

In many ways, I lived in that place of personal freedom as I was building my business.

Like a lot of women entrepreneurs —

I was operating under all the wrong programming:

It's this pervasive idea, which trickles down from corporate life, that our level of burnout is directly tied to our personal worth and the value we’re bringing into the world.

I worked late into the night, through weekends, even on vacation. I gave clients the option to expect unreasonable things. I’d say yes to things I didn’t want to do, and then resent it when I was sitting on a beach and working. When what I really wanted was to be enjoying a romantic vacation with my soon-to-be husband. (Sound familiar at all?)

I thought working long hours and sacrificing myself was just what women did to create a successful business. Right?

I lived life to the beat of my own drum.

When I was 18, I jumped into personal development work and got a ton of clarity on who I am and what I wanted out of life. I knew that Future Louiza was going to be a coach, and a great one. I traveled all over the world by myself and loved solo traveling — this was where I learned to be 100% tuned into my intuition, to trust my deepest knowing, to see myself as strong and capable in all situations.

But I also had ways in which I felt stuck.

I felt the pressure to make other people happy, to be good and agreeable, even when it made me miserable. When it came to work, I pushed myself relentlessly in my early 20s, driving myself to exhaustion and physical pain.

I thought like an entrepreneur and created little businesses to make extra money as a kid.

I honed negotiating skills early on. When I was 18, I jumped into personal development work and got a ton of clarity on who I am and what I wanted out of life. I knew I desperately needed something different, but I didn’t know what to do. The hustle was what I knew and saw other women doing.

Having my back go out and being anxious, partially paralyzed, and in debilitating pain was, to put it mildly, a wakeup call. It was obvious that things had to change. Somewhere along the line, I had lost the signal of my intuition.

I knew I had to claim the same level of freedom in my professional world as I had been claiming in other areas of my life.

I was afraid of taking time off from work, but I realized something that made me re-imagine my life:

All the best decisions I’ve ever made about my life — my relationships, my next steps, my desires, my vocation, my joy — they all happened when I wasn’t working.

The truth is that I need the space to hear those thoughts, to be present for the wisdom that can only come through in times of rest and quiet.

By not taking regular, intentional time for myself, I was paying a huge price. Not only was I suffering physically and emotionally — I was missing out on clarity, on revelation, and on the exact kind of liberated creativity that had brought me so far in life.

When I made the decision to shift my way of working, here’s what had to happen:

  • I had to get super clear on exactly what I wanted - working four days a week, weekends, completely off, eight weeks vacation a year minimum, fully unplugged from work

  • I had to have hard conversations with myself, my loved ones, and my clients

  • I had to set rock-solid boundaries out of deep love and respect for myself

  • I had to raise my rates

  • I had to be okay with upsetting some folks

  • I had to trust that there is enough amazing work out there, with amazing clients — and that I could make great money and not drive myself insane with anxiety and fatigue

  • I had to believe that I could do things in a way that 99% of other people don’t, and that it would still be awesome

I did all these things — and it worked. My life does not look like it did when I was doubled over in pain on the subway. Instead, it looks how I want it to look.

Now, I help women entrepreneurs claim this same kind of freedom.

Over the last 10 years, I've been helping female entrepreneurs set up their businesses to serve them: working fewer hours, setting better boundaries, and taking real weekends and vacations - all while earning more.

And in recent years, I've discovered that my full purpose is to help ambitious entrepreneurs who also want to be mothers to create, plan, and experience a true maternity leave that also supports the health and ongoing success of their businesses.

My work offers moms-to-be more time, better systems, robust support, clear communication, reclaimed desire, strong boundaries. I help moms-to-be who are successful business owners take the time off they need to care for themselves and their new babies — all while keeping their businesses (their first baby!) thriving.

If you’re at a crossroads and finally ready to say yes to your freedom as a business owner and a mother— well, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s talk.
